Why communication matters

You’re about to launch your new support channel, yayyy!!

But before you do, you may want to think about how you are going to communicate your new channel to employees and customers. Internal and external communication is an excellent way to raise awareness of your new service. But it’s important for other reasons too.  

For staff:  #

  • It’s helps them feel like they are part of the journey 
  • Staff can give valuable feedback and test the system 
  • It’s a great way to communicate its purpose and benefits 
  • And if your staff are aware, they will also use it! No one wants to be in a situation where they have invested in a new software which isn’t being used! 

For customers:  #

  • It makes them aware of the options available to them 
  • They’ll be more aware of the different microservices you offer 
  • It makes your services more accessible  
  • And as with staff, if you’re customers aren’t aware of it, they won’t use it. The more use the chatbot gets, the more intelligent it becomes. This means better and richer data for you.
