Congratulations on choosing Futr’s AI (Artificial Intelligence) backed chatbot and live chat solution for your organisation!  

This quick guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your chatbot live and ready to engage with your customers.

Adding a Welcome Message:  #

  • Navigate to “Bot Settings” 
  • Select “Welcome Message” 
  • Customize the welcome message to provide a warm and engaging introduction to your customers 
  • Consider using your company name dynamically or giving the bot a name for a personalized touch. 
     

Customizing your Pop-up:  #

  • Navigate to “Bot Settings” 
  • Find the “Web Popup” widget and select “Configure” 
  • Configure your banner, title, colours and branding to align with your company’s visual identity. 
  • Consider choosing colours that seamlessly integrate with your website’s aesthetics. 
     

Supplying the Snippet of Code:  #

  • Within In “Bot Settings” and “Web Popup” scroll down to “Deploy your Bot” 
  • Look for the code snippet specifically generated for your website. 
  • Copy the code snippet provided. 
     

Deploying on your Website:   #

  • Share the copied code snippet with your web development team (or yourself). 
  • To deploy across your website, instruct them to paste the code snippet in the Footer of your website just before the closing “</body>” tag on your website. 
  • If you wish to just deploy onto one / multiple pages instruct them to paste the code snippet to all relevant pages. 
     

Testing and QA:  #

  • Ensure that your web developers have successfully added the chatbot code snippet to your website 
  • Access your live website and check if the chatbot pops up and functions correctly. 
  • Test the chatbot’s response accuracy and user experience thoroughly. 
     

Monitoring and Iteration:  #

  • Keep an eye on chatbot performance and engagement metrics through Futr’s “Dashboards” and “Transcripts”  
  • Utilise “Unanswered Questions” inside the “Q&A Dashboard”  
  • Analyze user feedback through the “Users Dashboard” and adjust the chatbot’s responses accordingly  
  • Continuously optimize the chatbot’s conversational flows to improve customer satisfaction.
