An afternoon of success at the Northern Housing Awards
This afternoon, Futr attended the Northern Housing Awards – a virtual event celebrating the best work of housing associations and specialist industry suppliers operating across the North.
In our first year supporting social landlords with our unique automated customer messaging system (chatbot), we were immensely proud to be shortlisted in not one, but two categories at this year’s ceremony: Best Product/Innovation of the Year (for our chatbot) and Supplier of the Year.
Congratulations from everyone at Futr to all of this year’s winners, and thank you to the Northern Housing Awards’ experienced judging panel for all their valuable feedback.
Both award categories were understandably full of strong contenders, with so much activity worthy of recognition in this most challenging of years for the sector.
It’s been a pleasure to work with some of the most progressive housing associations in the north of England to develop our housing chatbot over the past year, and we’re especially grateful to believe housing, Ongo and First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) for their support with these awards.
Through close partnership working with these northern landlords, our chatbot can automatically answer up to 90% of housing customer enquiries – without requiring human interaction. This quantitative data and strong client feedback formed the foundation of our award entries.
On that note we were absolutely delighted to see believe housing secured the Covid Resilience Award, just rewards for an innovative and brave team.
2021 marks the third year of the Northern Housing Awards and the first to be hosted virtually. Along with great compering from comedian Justin Moorhouse, the well-attended online event featured insightful roundtable discussions, speed networking and even a virtual photo booth.
As innovators in tenant communication, Futr was proud to sponsor the Resident Support/Advice Programme of the Year prize, which was won by Calico Group in a fiercely contested category. It was an honour to hear all about Calico’s work and meet so many of the shortlisted entrants.
Finally, I’d like to thank everyone who stopped by at our virtual Sponsor’s Booth during the event. As ever, it was really interesting to see a shared commitment to improving customers’ experiences and discuss the challenges faced by social landlords of all sizes.
We look forward to staying in touch with everyone who left a ‘virtual business card’ with us at the event and to celebrating more Northern housing successes at next year’s event.
