Policing 4.0: Deciding the Future of Policing in the UK

As police forces begin to prepare for the future and the crimes of tomorrow, Futr’s founders attended Policing 4.0: Deciding the Future of Policing in the UK to debate how these issues be addressed in a way which creates a long-term framework for sustainable and effective policing.

The event was hosted by James Taylor, Deloitte UK Home Affairs and Justice Leader and those setting out their views included Yvette Cooper, Chair of Home Affairs Select committee, Sara Thornton, Chair of The National Police Chiefs Council, Mark Burns-Williamson OBE, Chair of The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) and Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire, Gavin Thomas, Chair of Police Superintendents Association, Tom Gash and Richard Hobbs, authors of ‘Policing 4.0 – Deciding the Future of Policing in the UK’, and Rick Muir, Director of Police Foundation.
